How this calculator works

Pick your product category and enter a selling price. We apply the category commission, the payment processing fee, the handling fee for the price bracket your item falls into, and any free-shipping, voucher or gems costs you switch on. What is left after those deductions is your net payout; subtract your packing cost price and you get real profit and margin.

Reverse mode does the opposite. Tell it the payout you want to keep and your packing cost, and it searches for the selling price that reaches that target, re-checking the handling-fee bracket at each step so the result stays valid at bracket boundaries.

Pricing tips for Sri Lankan sellers

  • Watch bracket edges: a price just above a handling-fee bracket can cost more than pricing slightly below it.
  • Include packing, tape and label costs in the packing cost price — they quietly eat thin margins.
  • Free shipping and voucher campaigns raise volume but also raise fees; run both scenarios before joining.
  • Re-check your numbers whenever commission or VAT rates change.
